The day that many of us have been waiting for for years has arrived. The release of the live concert at Red Rocks that turned U2 into a world renowned band is finally available on DVD.

Live at Red Rocks contains 5 unreleased tracks, remastered video and a 5.1 sound mix.

If you are any kind of U2 fan and have never seen this concert, you owe it to yourself to spend a measly $14 or whatever and get this right now.

U2 Live at Red Rocks DVD release date delayed

According to Amazon.com, the U.S. release date for U2’s “Live at Red Rocks” DVD Deluxe version is now September 23, 2008 instead of August.

However, it is available for pre-order as of yesterday. If you want to get your name in there right away, try this link: U2 Live at Red Rocks DVD

What is included in the deluxe edition is not specified but I’ll try to find out and report back.

U2 Live at Red Rocks DVD U.K. release date changed

The original release date for the U2 Live at Red Rocks DVD in the U.K. and Germany appeared to be tomorrow, July 7. However, checking with Amazon.co.uk, the date is now August 18, 2008. A bit disappointing, but this is more in line with the North American release which was originally scheduled for August.

Great news for all U2 fans! The long awaited U.S. release of the U2 Live at Red Rocks DVD has finally been announced. August 19, 2008.

However, since the European release is July 7, 2008, some of us probably won’t wait and may order from the UK instead. Check the link above for specifics on the versions available in various countries.
